CSA & Food (Coming Soon)

🧺 CSA Boxes

Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program will bring the freshest harvest from La Codorniz Ranch straight to local families. A CSA is a simple partnership: members purchase a seasonal share, and in return, they receive a weekly or bi-weekly box filled with what’s growing on the farm.

Our CSA boxes will feature a mix of seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs, farm eggs, heritage foods, and handmade goods. Because everything is grown in harmony with the land, each box is different — reflecting the true rhythm of the desert seasons.

Accessibility matters to us, which is why we are working to make our CSA boxes available to families using SNAP/EBT and other assistance programs. Fresh, healthy food should never be a luxury — it should be a right.

🏪 Future Farmers Market Booths

We plan to bring our harvest to local farmers markets across New Mexico. From vegetables and eggs to handmade goods, we’ll connect directly with our community at market booths that showcase not only our food but also our story.

Cordi the Spokesquail may even make appearances at our booth — helping kids learn about farming while making the market experience fun and family-friendly.

🌽 Heritage Foods

At La Codorniz Ranch, food is more than sustenance — it’s culture, tradition, and connection. That’s why we’re committed to growing and sharing heritage foods that honor our roots:

  • Tortillas on the Comal: Freshly made, rooted in Mexican and New Mexico tradition.
  • Hibiscus Tea (Agua de Jamaica): Bright, refreshing, and full of history.
  • Heirloom Corns, Chiles, Beans, & Squash: Staples of the Southwest, passed down for generations.

By blending traditional foods with regenerative farming practices, we’re keeping culture alive in every bite — while teaching future generations that food is history, family, and community.
