🧑🏫 Hands-On Workshops
At La Codorniz Ranch, learning happens best when your hands are in the soil — or the dough, or the soap! Our vision is to create a space where people of all ages can connect with traditional skills and modern sustainability practices.
Future workshops will include:
- 🫧 Soapmaking – crafting natural soaps using goat milk and farm herbs.
- 🧱 Adobe Building – learning the ancient art of building with earth.
- 🌮 Tortilla Demos – making tortillas on a comal, the traditional way.
- 🌱 Composting & Worm Farming – turning scraps into soil with compost, worms, and castings.
- 🐓 Animal Care Basics – raising chickens, quail, and goats the regenerative way.
Each workshop is designed to be fun, educational, and practical — skills that can be taken home and used in daily life.
🏫 School & Family Tours
La Codorniz Ranch will also serve as an educational farm for families, schools, and community groups. Imagine children seeing chickens up close, touching adobe bricks, or learning how a worm bin works — all while discovering where food really comes from.
Tours will be tailored for different age groups:
- School Groups – hands-on activities tied to science, ecology, and cultural studies.
- Family Visits – interactive farm walks where parents and kids can learn together.
- Community Days – open events with demos, tastings, and cultural celebrations.
Our goal is to inspire curiosity, respect for the land, and appreciation for heritage — because the best way to grow a healthier future is by teaching it to the next generation.
